Meanwhile, 250K people attended the No Kings protest in San Diego and it’s projected that over 5M people attended No Kings events nationwide.

Obviously, no one can take seriously the WH claim that 250K people attended the events in DC yesterday. But if they did, I'm not sure how you get to $1000 per attendee -- that would come out to the event costing $250 million.

10. I don't take the WH claim seriously - that's the point. Parks dept said 50k, and $45m is a widely quoted cost

so that's about $1,000 per person, rounded.
