Looks like many said "This not our fight." We have been fighting for the good of all since 1960, we are tired. Few majority voters, if any wanted to take on the fight for voter rights with John Lewis. Jails are filled with black men many for just not having bail money or for non-violent drug charges. American institutions failed them FIRST. Now they are failing the rest of us. Think about it! President Obama had Iran in a good space and we at least could get in to take a peak at what they were doing. I believe they really didn't want to make a nuke but they did want to be able to use and advance nuclear energy. Iran sponsored terrorism just like we sponsor it, with surrogates in the region...called NATO allies. Trump's two most consequential acts during his first term were crushing the Iran agreement that Obama worked so hard to get and moving the Israeli capitol from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. The consequences: playing out right now.

(34,327 posts)they want to kill you dead, white people can dismiss it to a degree. Not so with people of color. No one knows what our future is, but unfortunately many don't know what the present is. Myself included. It was the first time going to a protest I thought someone might want to hurt me. Shoe didn't fit right on my foot.
