Every single Democratic Senator needs to condemn that racist shit from

Shady Vance.
Further they need to cease and desist from referring to ReTHUGs senators as friends and colleagues. They are neither.

This racist attack on an elected Democrat must be the exclamation mark following Lee’s sick posts after the assassination of Democrats in Minnesota .
Fuck this shit.

J D Vance in LA:

"Well, I wish Jose Padilla would be here to ask a question, but unfortunately, I think he decided not to show up because there wasn't a theatre," Vance retorted, referring to the instance when Padilla was handcuffed at a news conference held by Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem.

JD claims Sen Padilla’s appearance at Kristi Noems’ presser was performance politics, which is JD’s actual day job.

There are only 100 senators altogether. I think you’d learn their first names. that is really sickening regressive racist bullshit. Trump supporters love it.

Bring “smart” doesn’t make someone have a good worldview. His performative backwardness is the act, which is not better than if it was authentic.

Fantastic. But, we need you to work hard, and, beat the drums of freedom publicly, as a unit, as well as individually.
How about joining in with your constituents on July 17?, how about publicly condemning ice efforts to sweep public venues like Dodger Stadium as well as farms, factories, neighborhoods, individuals on the street, and every other fucking place these masked marauders are showing up. Do it in unison on the steps of Congress, with strongly worded verbal responses, consistently.

playing nice with these people only buttresses their view that democrats are weak.

glad you accepted my apology.
in my 76 yrs. on this increasingly messed up world, i have never seen anything as sick as this maga bullshit. there are crazies on both sides of the political spectrum. there always have been, but this group is the most radical of the bunch. however, in order for them to have gotten to this point they needed to win elections and that is where the problem lies. there always have electorate for 40 years has sat by and watched as the republican party has chipped away at our basic rights and, more importantly, our national decency. wedge issues decide elections. they have replaced more importantly issues such as debt and education. we are going to hell in a handbasket.

It's possible that Shitstain Vance went with José because it's "just some Hispanic name," but I'm betting that Vance deliberately chose it to liken Senator Padilla to convicted terrorist Abdullah al-Muhajir aka José Padilla.

So rather than the casual, default racism endemic among MAGAts and KKKonservatives in general, it seems like a straightforward attempt to smear by name association.

(Sorry if this is obvious and if others have already pointed it out, but I haven't really seen it explicitly stated yet.)
