Remember when Sarandon called Hillary a "war hawk" and that she'd rather have Trump (or words to that effect).

Why is she silent now? Why has she been so quiet all along? The socialist activist was EVERYWHERE... all over the media... warning about how Hillary would get us into a war and that she just couldn't support anyone who voted for the IWR (except of course, John Edwards, who also voted for the IWR... it was okay to support him, just not Hillary.) Anyway, where's Susan Sarandon? Surely she has something to say about what's happening. She couldn't keep her big mouth shut before. What happened? She loves to shit on Democrats, but never a negative word about Republicans. Interesting, no?

But they are scared shitless of Trump. And he wants it that way, first president we’ve had that wants to rule by fear.

Why are they silent? Shame and embarrassment? Or pride over mission-accomplished and there's nothing left to be said because the damage has been done?

than Trump, she'd start WWIII two seconds after being sworn in -- "If she'd won we'd be at war now." "Queen of the warmongers."

And of course their leader was out there passive-aggressively blaming Hillary personally for the Iraq War:

"But maybe Senator Clinton might want to apologize to the families who lost their loved ones in Iraq ... " (also personally blaming her for the deindustrialization of the U.S. because of "trade policies she supported" while First Lady); when asked by Charlie Rose if it was going too far blaming Hillary for deaths in the Iraq War, he tried to get out of it: "Of course she doesn't bear responsibility." How authentic.

Susan thought Trump would, like, make the revolution happen faster. Democrats are busy trying to make government work for Americans.

At about the 30-second mark... "Donald Trump will bring the revolution immediately."

Is Sarandon still a multimillionaire?
If yes, she's not a socialist. She is a poseur.
There is no such thing as a multimillionaire socialist.

This isn't about the definitions. It's about her being a fraud.
There is nothing socialist, or democratic socialist, when someone accumulates over $60 million in assets.
The word socialist does not apply to her in any form.
She can self-identify how ever she wants, but it's fake.

... knowledge, but maybe she's not able to speak as she once did? Susan Sarandon is fine in her field - but not helpful in politics. I'm amazed she did not realize her actions helped the MAGA party. She seems smart... but so was Ralph Nader. My guess is that they genuinely took a view that a very "left" Democrat could and would win in the USA. I did not see this happening... picking the more "left" candidate met with a national loss. I would probably agree with the heart of many political views held by Susan, but would trust Hillary to be President. She was able to put aside her personal "wish-list" - and govern. I wish Hillary was President now.

likes to hear the sound of her own voice. She's famous and wealthy enough that people listen to her, for whatever reason. I doubt she has much actual reach among ordinary people.

he said the same about Harris.

He's awfully quiet and I know he has regrets .

My dad is 81 and is a full blown 60's radical . his global views on Peace
and anti war I deeply respect but it allowed him to be so shortsighted in the last
5 or 6 presidential elections .

I haven't rubbed his nose in his shortsightedness, like I said he's 81 with heart problems.
I know he's just heartbroken about this attack on Iran .

Seeing his legacy , his life's work for peace and justice being just annihilated because of people like
him and sarandon at the end of his life must be just too much for him to bare .

I'll keep my fury at him quiet . It's nice to have fellow like minded people to vent my frustration to .

Thanks DUers

She was comfortable before she took a shit on the vulnerable of the world, and now, she’s probably more comfortable than ever.

Funny how that works.
