Chris Murphy: I was briefed on the intelligence last week. Iran posed no imminent threat of attack to the United States

I was briefed on the intelligence last week.

Iran posed no imminent threat of attack to the United States. Iran was not close to building a deliverable nuclear weapon. The negotiations Israel scuttled with their strikes held the potential for success.

Dismissed as a (intentionally selected?) flawed messenger. Intelligence was correct however.

red meat to the MAGA base and Netanyahu. Distracts from bad polling on domestic issues like the ICE raids and funding cuts for social programs.

In 2015.

Trump set the stage for what's happening now in 2017 when he tore up the multinational nuclear agreement with Iran.

9. So did TACO.

Like Dubya, he's always wanted to be a war time president. Dropping the biggest non-nuclear bombs on a country we're not at war with is a way he thinks shows he's strong.

Somehow, in his degenerating brain this is the path to a Nobel Peace Prize.

No one would suggest we'd ever bomb a christian country.
