How does that make any sense?

Sadly, other than the failure to brief the full Gang of Eight, the bombing of Iran appears to fall within the powers granted the president under the War Powers Act.

Now if the Dems only had the courage, and the votes, to kill the filibuster, they could revise the act once they regain power.
