The Peter principle is a concept in management developed by Laurence J. Peter which observes that people in a hierarchy tend to rise to "a level of respective incompetence": employees are promoted based on their success in previous jobs until they reach a level at which they are no longer competent, as skills in one job do not necessarily translate to another.

Every time he endorses a Republican running for office and they win, he takes a victory lap and says "THAT happened because of ME."

But when they lose, he never takes the blame.

In some deep red districts, sure...an endorsement from Needy Amin can go a long way.

But his whole premise with hiring a GROUP OF Murdoch's goons is that he believes he can make ANYONE a star while OWNING THE LIBS. As we've seen so far, there's not enough lipstick in the world to pretty up Trump's prized Fox "News" pigs.
