After today's church shooting
We're going to hear the same old things - "OMG we have to do something!" & "thoughts & prayers!"
How long are WE going to allow this to go on for? Seriously.
It's ridiculous that we haven't solved this problem yet & it's literally all due to politics. This country is so incredibly dangerous & it didn't just happen over night either. No. It's been a long trajectory of upward stupid for decades.
I know the right is wanting to have a "Constitutional Convention" so they can rewrite the Constitution from the point of view of an asshole. I think perhaps we need to start thinking that way but rewrite it in a way which helps poor & working class people. And I'm sorry but let's be honest, the founders NEVER envisioned guns being used in the manner which they are today nor could they have ever thought of the types of guns available today. 2A has to go or at the very minimum rewritten largely so it's very difficult to own firearms say similar to Germany. Of course there's also Australia & I have no problems with doing an Australian model here in the United States.
My God, people are dying. IN CHURCHES for shit sakes! Kids are being used as bowling pins. You can't even go to a damn shopping mall anymore without risking your life.
