Its not politically correct to use the term, Regime Change, but if the current Iranian Regime is unable to MAKE IRAN GREAT AGAIN, why wouldnt there be a Regime change??? MIGA!!!
When has regime change e v e r worked in Americas favor?
America ousts Mossadegh in 1953, we bring in The Shah, which eventually leads to Iran ousting him for Ayatollah Khomeini, and Iran has hated us over since.
Kennedy tried doing regime change with the Bay of Pigs Invasion. If America tried a modern Bay of Pigs with the same crushing defeat, whichever party was in power would see a crushing defeat in Congress and the White House.
America did regime change with ousting Saddam. Who eventually came to power? ISIL/ISIS.
Okay, regime change in Iran, and who or what comes to power? Do you think that will endear Iran to us with a regime change? Who the replacement in a regime change is equally as important as being able to replace them.
Now, if the people of Iran want regime change and want to lead this all themselves without US support and this country being non-interventionist, thats one thing.
But this country, let alone this White House, doing a regime change? It might be the felons biggest failure yet, and that would really be saying something.

If Democratic leadership cant pounce off of this, they couldnt make a two-foot layup, they couldnt hit a baseball off a tee.

(27,712 posts)Iran would be massively more difficult to invade than Iraq was, and Iraq ended up a complete shitshow despite being relatively easy to invade.
I'd love to see the mullahs gone, but agree that it would have to come from within Iranian society.

At this point, I trust Mel Kiper Jr. evaluating quarterbacks than I do Netanyahu attempting to sway American foreign policy.
Oh, and if all these nuts from AIPAC love Israel so much, go move there instead of being a cancer on our country and planet.
