(428 posts)2. It's not just Iran. It blocks Iraq Kuwait Qatar Bahrain Possibly UAE. 2/3 of Saudi oil goes out that way...
It absolutely would screw stuff up. Which is why I give Iran 24 hours of survival if they do.
