(2,571 posts)I personally do not feel ANY safer with one who is a pathological liar. 47 never sees the consequences of his actions and Hegseth, Patel, Noem, ICE, Gabbard etc etc prevent much sleep for me . Add American citizens being kidnapped and deported, 4000 troops in LA, Russian flags appearing on a post by dod, and congress doing nothing to stop this chaos. They have all compromised our national security and global credibility.

(12,725 posts)I gently suggest that your feelings aren't predicated on evidence, and that the consequences of this attack ( i.e. "blowback" ) may not be realized for a while.

Unfortunately, at least what we know right now, I think trump will gain a bit in public opinion if Iran backs off or cuts a deal that makes trump look good to more than half voters.
If it goes to chit, hell pay.
