Anyone else wondering how we can possibly celebrate? Is this still the land of the free?

since Memorial Day. I realize that we celebrate our independence from Great Britain, not the constitution, and although we still have that independence, it doesn’t feel like there’s anything to celebrate about America these days. I’m very torn.
