Obergefell ten years later - how America has gone so dreadfully wrong

Ten years ago today the White House glowed in the rainbow colors of inclusion, diversity, and individual liberty.

Today the White House is a cesspool of racism, bigotry, and hate – its occupant a fascist thug and degenerate criminal.

And those on the hateful, bigoted right have made it their mission to get Obergefell overturned, as they did Roe.

How America has gone so dreadfully wrong in just ten years.

And professionally-run and/or algorithm-driven disinformation campaigns being pushed to those phones.

Intelligence agency scientists have been studying how to manipulate populations since there were intelligence agencies. And nearly every country has one. Hell, before that, it was churches doing that work. Plus everything we do on our phones is tracked. So there are now VAST troves of data being fed into AI systems programmed to figure out how to manufacture consent for the idea that millionaires and billionaires are the proper and correct Supreme Rulers of Mankind, and that their interests are paramount, and that democracy is inherently flawed.

The authoritarian/royalist wing of humanity also long ago figured out that roughly 30% of the population are easily manipulated, selfish, greedy, hateful assholes (like, literally 'genetically') and that if you can get that big a percent of the population onboard on the fascists unified vision, the remaining 70% of the population will never organize themselves well enough to deny them absolute power. IOW, the smartphones, and their dastardly algorithms have given the authoritarians the means to unify the 30%.

This is all in NO way unique to the USA, this 30% of the population I speak of is baked into the genes of all humanity. There is a global effort to basically enslave the world to serve the billionaires, and their plans appear to be working.

And lastly it's important to realize that the billionaires don't need anywhere near 8B people to exist on the planet to get exactly what they want.
