While the Supreme Court ruling on Medicaid funding for Planned Parenthood opens states to cut off

funding for Planned Parenthood and other providers of certain healthcare services, I assume that states such as California can still provide that funding?

This ruling of course would hurt the most vulnerable people in our society in states that want to cut off funding. Planned Parenthood provides healthcare services for people who have no other place to turn to.

The ignorance and callousness of these supreme court justices is outrages and deplorable.

That the voting public dismissed the dangers of another trump term in the white house, does not speak highly of American populace.

and they are not even elected. I wish more would be said about this and the lack of consistency that abandoning stare decisis has caused.

as well as fees and sales taxes, which are regressive. States also have to balance their budgets, unlike the federal government. It's not that easy to solve the loss of federal funds by just taxing state residents more.

The ones that don't can implement one. It's just a matter if priorities.
