It's useless hyperbole to project that. We are all angry about willful mis-interpretation / ignorance of the Constitution but there will be no bonfire.

8. Never, like the time Roberts and Co invented presidential immunity?

And here the felon is president, again, immune from every law on the books and branch of government.

Tsk. Tsk.

10. That's not what they found. It is a very shallow reading of that decision that many have to hold that erroneous view

People making that claim overlook the ruling reference to "official duties".

But it is easy to fall into the trap of all-or-nothing thinking. It is easy to think that if some immunity is granted then total immunity is granted. That is false. Next time you are tempted to say "tsk tsk" look in the mirror.

12. Not really. SCROTUS redefined "insurrection" to allow Trump to return to office.

Trump was on the ropes for leading an insurrection where the executive branch attacked the legislative branch and then obstructing justice, yet that somehow is OK for him to do as part of his official duties.

Then, there's the time he stole Top Secret defense information and refused to return them, even when he was out of office, and obstructed justice, yet he remains free to betray around the country.

Now that King Taco can deport whomever he calls a non-citizen -- from enemy of the state to DEI beneficiary, whatever he says -- we'll do our best to monitor his other official duties through January 20, 2029.

Don't know about you, but it seems to me that the court is siding with the guy interested in shredding the Constitution.

13. Wrong. They did not rule on Jan 6. They did not say he can deport anyone.

On July 1, 2024, the Supreme Court ruled in Trump v. United States that presidents have absolute immunity from criminal prosecution for those official acts which fall within their "exclusive sphere of constitutional authority". For those official acts that do not fall within this inner core, but nevertheless within "the outer perimeter of his official responsibility", a president enjoys at least a presumptive immunity. When it comes to unofficial acts, there is no immunity.[48] The case was returned to the lower courts to determine whether Trump's actions related to the January 6, 2021, attacks on the U.S. Capitol were official or not, and if so, then to which degree of immunity they would be entitled. -- Wikipedia

The Courts ruled that Albrego Garcia had to be brought back and yes he was.

Must be why he's asked to remain in a Tennessee jail instead of getting released.

Abrego Garcia asks to delay release from jail amid Trump threats of deportation

The Hill - 06/27/25

Attorneys for Kilmar Abrego Garcia have asked that he remain in a Tennessee jail for several more weeks after the Trump administration said it plans to swiftly deport him to a third country if he is released.

The Friday filing from Abrego Garcia’s team in his Tennessee criminal case comes after prosecutors told a Maryland judge Thursday they would plan to deport the man to a country other than El Salvador if he was released from custody.

“Because we cannot put any faith in any representation made on this issue by the DOJ, we respectfully request to delay the issuance of the release order,” the attorneys wrote, saying the Justice Department must “provide reliable information concerning its intentions.”

Snip...

“The irony of this request is not lost on anyone. After illegally removing Mr. Abrego to El Salvador, the government retrieved him, brought him to this District, and indicted him on baseless charges. Mr. Abrego has spent the last two weeks contesting his unlawful detention under the Bail Reform Act. In a just world, he would not seek to prolong his detention further,” attorneys for Abrego Garcia wrote.

No offense, I don't think it's a mistake on my part, either. I think the Supreme Court approving fascism is on purpose.
