Everyone paying attention heard Trump loud and clear. To him, every brown immigrant is a criminal. Legal status doesn’t matter. The Marshall Project documented thousands of instances where Trump linked immigrants to crime, and it literally started on Day One, when he said, during his campaign kickoff, “When Mexico sends its people, they’re not sending their best. They’re sending people that have lots of problems, and they’re bringing those problems with us. They’re bringing drugs, they’re bringing crime, they’re rapists, and some, I assume, are good people.”

They held these signs up at their convention:

See anything there that exempts non-criminal immigrants? Because I sure as hell don’t. The message has always been crystal clear. But we’ve seen this delusion play out time and time again.

1. How do we stop this kidnapping?

I watched a video on Bluesky yesterday from the perspective of a ring camera. A dozen agents in military gear and weapons descended on the house. First they blew open the 4 foot high metal security gate surrounding the house. Then they attached a seven foot curved curtain rod looking thing to the door and that rod blew open the door. The ice gestapo escorted a woman and her two young children out of the house. WTH?? The caption of the video says that everyone living there were ALL American citizens. Even if they weren't citizens no one should be treated like this! Can you imagine how terrified they all were? How do they keep getting away with this BS? Why can't we stop this?
