I think the feud is going to get to the point that Elan will reveal how they cheated to put TSF back in the WH.

"Without subsidies, Elon would probably have to close up shop and head back home to South Africa," wrote the president in a Truth Social post, adding, "perhaps we should have DOGE take a good, hard, look at this?" The president was referring to the government efficiency group that Musk ran until recently.

for the crime of rigging an election.

Not sure if he wants to risk prison time or huge fines or both, but I doubt he wants to risk it.

Why would he when he would want to use it again and what if Democrats take back the majority? He would be setting himself up for prison time, lawsuits and self destruction.

On edit: he hasn't even "released" the Epstein files he was raving about.

This "they stole the election" is getting tiresome. It was tiresome when it was our claim in 2004, it was tiresome when Trump snatched the claim from us in 2020, and it is tiresome now that we've taken it back.

The arguments are literally the same - often citing the same conspiracy theorists who are all too happy switch their party loyalty to whoever will tout their theories.

(Note: I am talking about voting machine conspiracies - NOT the vote suppression, voter purges, limitation on voting hours, restriction of use of absentee ballots, enhanced voter ID requirements - all of those happened, and (by design) hit Democrats harder than Republicans.)

and intimate connections (as in I've read the software from more than one vendor).

Nothing is post-certification. All changes have to go through a follow-up certification before they are implemented.

That's one of the reasons the call for open source software in the early 2000s was so dangerous. In theory open source software has the best ability to avoid security risks because anyone can see it and change it - so risks are corrected almost as soon as they are found. It works for things like computer operating systems.

But as a practical matter, in the election scenario, the fixes can't be implement before the software is recertified. That means the risks are known, publicized, and can be exploited for weeks to months before a fix can be implemented to stop the exploitation. In addition to financial motives, that's one of the reasons for proprietary software.

That there were “minor” software updates made to the software after the certification. That is the one concern/issue that I was most wanted investigated.

Is that he has the kind of wealth that can not only ensure his own protection from Trump's reach but then fund dark activities to wreak havoc on Mango Mussolini, including paying for chaos agents. Musk could find ways to heighten Trump's already notable paranoia through psy-ops, driving the cult leader into greater depths of lunacy.

There's a lot of sinister things lurking in the darkest corners of our cyber-world.

Musk got access to the most sensitive data of all Americans, including Trump's. There are many ways he could use that information about Trump. He also has a bunch of so called computer whiz kids. That gives him options, if he chooses to use them. The dream option would be to hack Trump's crypto accounts and drain them. He could also probably find any foreign backers, if he chose to do so to publicize who Trump's handlers are. So much data, so little time.
