Between a rock and a hard place

I think the one component of this crime against humanity that everyone is missing is the timeline for implementing it.
Many of the most damaging features, like the Medicare cuts, are years out and likely when Democrats could be in control of the WH and/or Congress.
This isn't the Republicans first rodeo.
This timeline is long on purpose because they know it won't be popular when it happens.
They also know that most people have very short memories.
When those dominoes start to fall they will absolutely blame Democrats and will avoid all responsibility saying "it's not our fault because the Democrats are in charge now".
Its what they do.

and other non traditional sources of public opinion forming medias they will continue to rule the public opinion.

The fact that the impact of these media’s are ignored never ceases to amaze me.

5. AM radio? Srsly? Who still listens to AM radio anymore?

But sure, let's spend precious resources to get liberal voices on the lowest frequencies and least listenable part of the radio spectrum.

This ain't the 1990s-2000s anymore.

Guess what, just because you don’t know anyone who listens to am radio and the talk radio heads on syndicated private networks, does not mean anything that matters.

It is way overtime for people who live in bubbles to face that things that they do not know about do exist.

Listen and learn.

Dismissing what people share here on this board is counterproductive.

i've got a repeat of stephanie miller's show from wednesday morning replaying on my laptop now.

i listen to it 90 percent of the time i'm in my car.

i have a radio in the kitchen so i can hear stephanie miller, thom hartmann, joan esposito. i have another radio in the living room that stays on all day so i can hear it when i'm not in the kitchen and my doglet can listen to it when i go out.

and, from what i've heard, truckers listen to am radio.

air america had a lot to do with getting obama elected. (air america was on a.m. radio)

what do you listen to?

9. I make myself listen to the hate media on am when I feel strong enough-

which lately is not often enough to get a good grip on the direction of the rhetoric.

But it is what has changed the culture, at least in my lifetime. Starting in the 1980's and ignored maliciously and vehemently by those in urban areas. The thing is that the effect of the propaganda is now multigenerational.

For it to be changed, this is the group that must be addressed. And it is why I applaud Gov Newsom for going into that fray. Nobody even bothers to challenge all the lies that are spouted- too many in one sentence to even address. from this grass roots.

I listen to NPR and PBS at homes and I have Sirius XM in my car and as an app so that I can listen to CNN and MSNBC and the Ag Radio stations along with various hate talking heads when I have the strength. But lately, that is gone, I simply can't take it. But pretending that nobody listens to it?

Thanks for your response orleans. I work in ag and have lived in rural areas my adult life.

10. My iPod or satellite radio for music. Non-political podcasts.

But that's only when I have to drive a fair distance. Living in a small town usually means I don't listen to anything as I don't have far to go to get anywhere, and I find it more distracting than helpful.

I haven't listened to or watched terrestrial broadcast stations in ages, and I cut the cable years ago (so that I'm not paying the Roberts family insane amounts of money for channels I never watched).
