. . . That Jimmy has poked fun at Newsom on his show from time to time. Have those bits been anywhere near as critical of Newsom as they have been towards Trump? In all honesty, no. But Trump's actions and policies warrant a stronger approach, and I'm not the only person who thinks so.

A short while ago, I listened to a radio commenter state that "Kimmel has alienated most of America" and I was so upset I asked the driver to turn off the radio. The person on the radio has a different set of beliefs than I do; so be it. But if Kimmel had really alienated "most" of America, than why wasn't his show cancelled years ago from simple lack of views? Every time someone makes a claim about the late night hosts being unfunny or unpopular, I ask the air molecules, why are their networks paying them to do their shows?

Entertainment networks aren't charities. If nobody was tuning in, they wouldn't be keeping those supposedly unfunny and unpopular people on the air. The trolls on social media love to sound important by declaring so and so as no longer relevant or whatever. But the troll is the one invisibly typing away on their keyboard hoping to stir up attention. The comedians and hosts out there whom the trolls don't like are managing to make a living at what they do,. That's more than the trolls can claim.

why would Jimmy's barbs of Newsom be "anywhere near" as critical as those directed at Trump? One is a FASCIST FUCK and the other is FIGHTING FASCISM
