Starbucks barista at Kroger fired after writing 'racists fav drink' on Charlie Kirk order

“The girl at Starbucks thought she was cute,” Perkins wrote in the post. “I don’t even support Starbucks bc of everything they stand for starting with their satanic logo, but I support Charlie Kirk so I thought you know what… I’ll get his drink."

“Thank you Starbucks for proving to me exactly why I prefer to support my small local Christian owned and operated coffee shop. Well done,” she wrote.

If you can find it pre 1980s, it was a siren with a split tail. Some stupid idgit decided it was too "sexual explicit" (or some such nonsense) for children to see, and started an unfortunately successful campaign to get them to change it to the logo they have today.
Apparently, the kirkies can dish it out, but can't take it.

snip

Starbucks said on Sept. 17 the company reviewed timestamped in-store video footage and found alleged “critical” cup messages were not written by baristas, and appeared to have been added after the drink was handed off to the customer.

Another TikTok user said a Starbucks barista at a California store wouldn’t write Kirk’s name on her drink because it was “political.”

In its statement, Starbucks said baristas are not allowed to write political slogans on cups, but a name, like Charlie Kirk, is ok. The coffee chain said it had voiced the distinction to employees.

I worked in marketing for 3 major chains and I can tell you none of them would allow a drink to be named after anyone in a political situation, nor would a franchisee be allowed to do it.

and some might end up being popular enough that they know what kind of drink the customer is ordering when they say they want the "fill in drink name" drink.

I'm guessing the Charlie Kirk drink was just what he ordered when he went there and mentioned it in public somewhere and people that want to try it refer to it as that.

Did you not see where I said I worked for 3 major chains and they would not allow such a thing? I worked in upper level marketing management—the people who make the decisions.

I also said local franchisees (or even local store management in company owned stores) are not allowed to come up with the names for their own drinks. This is explicitly prohibited for exactly this reason. Coming up with your own drinks is prohibited, too.

Person who hates Starbucks because he thinks theyre liberals orders a drink and reinforces his confirmation bias (but gave them his money anyways). Then they fire the Barista -and in order to punish this evil satanic liberal organization for being so liberal, he commits to supporting a small business?

Here it is from his own lips:

In an July 26 Instagram reel posted by Charlie Kirk and Turning Point USA, a young woman asks Kirk what his Starbucks order is.

Kirk answers, "Mint Majesty tea with two honey," which he claimed to drink "because I lose my voice very easily."
