Who currently owns the "Epstein Island"? Could law enforcement go there and check what's going on?

pretty much the moment he died (or arrested?), and reportedly took possession of hundreds of videotapes and cd's presumably shot from the cameras that were found in nearly every room. This is why many are frustrated and unconvinced that there's "nothing to see" that might help identify some of the abusers/potential blackmail &/or extortion -ees (and worry that one reason this evidence has continued to be kept secret through two administrations is that someone wants to continue to use them for the same purposes).

Thought to be destruction of evidence, but maybe it was the new owner getting rid of unwanted stuff left there?
