We don't want to hand him or his goons an excuse on a platter.
Even J D Pritzker, governor of Illinois, warned his citizens to not take the bait. Non- engagement is good advice.

Ass Crack Dingle Berry is mad because Portland threatened to revoke the lease on the building that ICE is using as their headquarters? Something like that. I seem to remember that their was something out of order about ICE's use of the building. Not sure about the details.
If one of our senators is suggesting non-engagement, then at least initially, that may be the best strategy.
Rump just thinks that Portland is full of wild eyed radicals and that we are an easy target for the war he wants to unleash on the Blue states. And, he wants to distract from the Epstein files .

Doing nothing means acceptance. Doing nothing only empowers them to do more. Not less.

Why have we not learned this lesson?

I'm not saying to do anything other than peacefully and lawfully protest.

I did read one quote that says basically "we don't need you here" but no other news. That's why I asked if anyone has heard more from her. Her website says nothing. Google just has that one sentence. Maybe I'm doing it wrong, I'm sure you'll tell me.
