A thought:
I’m mildly surprised that during that mish-mosh of word salad today, Dementia did not suggest that he was going to rename Washington, DC as Trumpopolis, because, as one right wing moron said to me many years ago when the Washington National Airport was renamed for his then-hero, Ronald Reagan, “Well, I don’t know what YOU’RE getting upset about…it’s not like it’s named for anyone NOW.”
When I said quietly, “I believe that it is presently named for George Washington.”, he just stood there. He then, and I swear he said this, “Well, you know what I mean.”
My reply was, “Actually, I don’t.”
How far we’ve come: Reagan wouldn’t stand a chance if he stood up today with what he said then. Of course, he’d be MAGA-proud today, because he was just an unprincipled, also-demented whore. But that’s a post for another day.
