Haiku for the New Year

We got through a year
With Trump's lies proving to be
Worth less than our truths.

There's no time this year
In any of our own lives
For any of that.

Let's resolve this year
To not let Trump waste our time
On the things he says.

But instead we will
Be more of an obstacle
To the shit he does.
