This Trump Mar-a-Lago NYE Video Is Blowing Up for All the Wrong Reasons

Imagine ushering in 2026 surrounded by chandeliers, champagne, and… Vanilla Ice rapping “Ice Ice Baby” next to a dancing Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle.

That’s the scene that unfolded at Donald Trump’s lavish New Year’s Eve party at Mar-a-Lago, and one short video clip from the night has the internet in absolute meltdown mode.

Posted just hours after the ball dropped, the footage shows political power players letting loose in ways that have sparked laughter, eye-rolls, and a whole lot of secondhand embarrassment. If you haven’t seen it yet, buckle up – it’s the kind of moment that makes you question reality.

The Clip That’s Got the World Talking

It starts with Vanilla Ice in full performance mode, mic in hand, as the Ninja Turtle busts moves behind him.

Figures that they'd latch on to a song that was a straight ripoff from the first note.

No deaths please, but a few hours standing around in the cold outside while the fire department extinguished the blaze would do Trump and his minions a whole lotta good.

Stephen Miller is a creep, but a “dancing” Stephen Miller is, well…..spooky in an another- world kind of way.

My health insurance rates just went up 44% and these public servants are partying like billionaires.

But as grown adults in 2025, it's weird and sad.

Plus the vibe there looks like every cringy wedding reception you've ever been to.

Songwriter Ron Parissi of Wild Cherry eventually prevailed in his claim for royalties, at least that is what I recall learning from watching a segment on a television music channel.

Wild Cherry is from the Youngstown - Mingo Junction, Ohio, area.

We here in the Western Pennsylvania - Eastern Ohio area do not take kindly to song plagiarers.

Of course, VI notoriously ripped off Queen's "Under Pressure" which features a co-vocal by David Bowie.
