If you get a panicked phone call ...

I screensnapped this from a tweet.

In dark mode ...

The author expects agentic bots to flood messages, phone calls and email by the end of the year.

As for a redundant, encrypted means of communication (a secure channel) I personally recommend Signal messenger. It runs on everything. Includes chats, video calls, up to 8 people, and more.

Here are the features you can generally use:

Advanced stuff

Signal uses an internet connection, not "messages" which sometimes come with a fat charge.

Just my suggestion.

All channels have multiple layers with video having the widest bandwidth.

Pick a simple small passcode which can correspond to numbers and can be dropped into conversation. It’s good to have passcodes for different people or situations too.

The example above is a demand passcode. There’s also request passcodes sent by the originator of the interaction. Such as “I am looking at a blue car.” Which could mean for the recipient to call the originator back immediately.

Example: “boat”… Which can be 2628 and “-… —- .- -“. Also, a passcode can be chosen which corresponds to a clock time. “I will meet you at 4:20 or 11:11.”

Eh, well, desperate times call for paranoid measures. Well worth having a tool in place.
