Border Czar Tom Homan announced that President Donald Trump had agreed to end the Department of Homeland Security's anti-immigration surge in Minnesota following the deaths of two U.S. citizens, Renee Good and Alex Pretti.
"I have proposed, and President Trump has concurred, that this surge operation conclude," Homan said in a speech on Thursday. "A significant drawdown has already been underway this week, and we'll continue to the next week."
"We have a lot of work to do across this country to remove public safety risk," he continued. "And to deliver on President Trump's promise for strong border security and mass deportation, law enforcement officers drawn down from this surge operation will either return to the duty station or be signed elsewhere to achieve just that.

There might be fewer ICEholes on our streets but the drawdown here just means they'll be sent elsewhere to cause the same chaos and misery. I'm calling it a win for us because we threw so much sand in their gears that they had to save face by explaining the drawdown as the conclusion of a successful operation - but the assholes being shipped out of Minneapolis are coming to someone else's city.

(6,877 posts)Firstly, we know that not a word that comes from this maladministration can be trusted
Secondly, we know that forces withdrawn from Minnesota will only be reassigned to other locations where they can terrorize the population with the same tactics they've used against us. The people in those places are our neighbors just as surely as our fellow Minnesotans are, and they will need our help and support.
