10 million-is not enough

I have seen reports that Governor Waltz is asking 10 million from feds . IT IS not enough. I drove through South Minneapolis this afternoon. Blocks of closed restaurants and empty store fronts. Far worse than Covid.
The money if we were to get it is nothing to the emotional trauma this community has suffered.
What really broke my heart is the signs on restaurant doors saying "We are open, please knock. ".

Think about that. A small business locking their doors be cause of the federal government thugs.
I know I'm preaching to the choir but my heart is broken.
I am 75 , 76 in April and this not how I thought to spend my sunset years.
I wanted to leave after last election but husband worried about Healthcare. Like it is so great here.
I'm angry, heartbroken and disgusted.

I hope recovery goes better than you think. Please knock on those doors and support those restaurants as best you can!
