Former Gov. Chris Christie (R) told an audience at Harvard that Donald Trump didn’t want his daughter Ivanka to marry Jared Kushner.

Said Christie: “It became clear to Trump that Jared and Ivanka would get married. He was not thrilled about this. I was still the prosecutor. He asked me to go out to dinner and said, do you have anything more on the family, so I can break this up?”

1. Trump didn't want his daughter to marry a Jew.
2. Daddy Kushner had a criminal past, complete with a prison term. Not a good look by association.
3. Trump wanted to choose Ivanka's husband. Not only to continue controlling Ivanka, but to ensure that her husband wouldn't be competition with him.
4. Trump was pushing Ivanka to marry Tom Brady, an NFL superstar. (Trump is such a jock-sniffer.)

I could have sworn that was in Mary's book. Anyone else read it? Am I misremembering?

I also read Slobby was pushing Tom Brady to date Ivanka but he wasn't interested.
