(207 posts)3)....bought the Republicon mythology that it is the Democratic party and Democratic social safety nets keeping them down and not:
1) The structural bias and discrimination in hiring, housing, enterprise development, etc.
2) Lending practices
3) Redlining in real estate
4) Voter suppression
5) Grocery deserts
6) Living while oppressed tax
7) White fragility
8) Gross Injustice in policing and in the court system
A women I know, who is Black, runs a radio show, that I am a frequent guest on. She told me her pastor ordered the parishioners to vote for Trump, otherwise be condemned by God, because Trump was the savior. She ended up voting for Trump 2xs. She could not vote for him a third time because, as she mentioned, "Trump represents everything I am against." "I mean look what he is actually saying and doing." She almost ended up leaving her church. When her White church "friends" of 20 plus years found out she voted for Kamala, they immediately alienated her.
Same for the LGBTIQA "community." I think there are now more sexual and gender diverse people outside the "community" and with little knowledge of the historical political struggle, language, arts, economy, and its import for the current struggle, than in it. I am finding myself having to be very patient and non-judgmental when an opportunity for dialogue starts, in highlighting their circular reasoning.

(7,675 posts)...then expand the court to 13. Effectively kill the fascist majority.
There's no set "law" the court has to be limited to 9.
