Are search engines going off-line today ? I can't get a response from either Ecosia or DuckDuckGo.

DU's search engine is DDG, and it seems to be working AFAIK. But if I try to go to DDG's home page, it never connects.

ETA: I'm running Firefox on an old Mac. Google search still works just fine as well as it has been lately, no problems.

I guess I'll have to try the old quit-and-restart-the-browser. FSM only knows what kind of hostile mobile code has gunked up the works and needs to be flushed. I seldom need to do this, and it's kind of a pain because TabSessionManager takes so long to load (I could improve that, but at a cost).
