(8,500 posts)I can't get out to shoot anymore so I was pretty excited for a topic that I had some decent photos for. These were from 2005.
My entry was a crop from this shot... not entirely sure why I didn't use this one, but here it is.
Thanks again for the votes!

(4,726 posts)I was surprised to see wild dogs in the same enclosure as the lions, if that is the case. Beautiful shot, though!
Nittersing
(8,500 posts)The wild dogs are actually in a separate enclosure.

(4,726 posts)... in sinking feeling's entry is worth a prize all by itself! Making sure all those pillars and arches lined up was an engineering marvel.
And George's entry is spectacular. I always look forward to his photos of Shadow, Maddie, and Pete.
Nittersing's shot of the lions is priceless! The cubs are rightfully cautious around Dad; if he didn't know they were his own progeny, he might eye them as snacks.
George McGovern
(12,859 posts)Shadow, Maddie and Pete say thanks too.
Shadow has loved to run her whole life. Still does.

Maddie and Pete would say Hi but they're too busy eating.
