Talarico won't campaign with Democratic House candidate who wants to open 'a prison for American Zionists'

Maureen Galindo, the housing activist and conspiracy theorist whose rants about “billionaire Zionists” have defined her pursuit of a U.S. House seat in Texas, is within spitting distance of winning a Democratic runoff in a competitive San Antonio-area district.

But if Galindo becomes the nominee, she’ll be without the support of the state’s most prominent Democrat: U.S. Senate candidate James Talarico.

“This antisemitic rhetoric has no place in our politics. We need leadership in both parties willing to stand up and call out hate wherever it rears its ugly head,” the Texas state representative, whose own surging campaign has garnered national attention, said in a statement to the Jewish Telegraphic Agency when asked about Galindo.

Talarico’s campaign confirmed to JTA that he would not campaign with Galindo if she wins her May 26 runoff, in a district Democrats are hoping to flip following Republican-led redistricting in the state.

She made an impact on one issue & seems quite full herself & her perceived self-superiority.

Republicans are using a secret super PAC to pour $1 Million into Dem primaries - Alternet

Super PACs with ties to Republicans are spending money to promote weaker, left-wing candidates in Democratic primaries, in an apparent effort to help Republicans retain control of the House, The New York Times reports.

“They’re going into Democratic primaries and literally trying to boost the most extreme candidates and oppose the Blue Dog-endorsed candidates that, if they win, are going to beat the Republicans in the general,” U.S. Rep. Adam Gray (D-CA) said in an interview with the Times. The Blue Dogs are more centrist Democrats.

One “new mystery super PAC with ties to Republicans has spent more than $1 million meddling in at least three Democratic congressional primaries to select preferred opponents,” the Times reports. That group is spending money to promote “a left-wing sex therapist in Texas who has been accused of bigotry and antisemitism by leaders in both parties.”

Or so I've been told.

If putting Jews in camps isn't antisemitic I need someone to explain to me the new definition.
(Excuse me- putting "Zionists" in camps)

I see that principle out weighs winning in this case, as it should 🤔💀

Reminds me of Ms. Jewish space lasers.

Talarico is showing good political judgement condemning this and staying the hell away from this clown. But I don’t see any democratic representative getting anywhere close to such freaks. The antisemitism comes from a fringe, and isn’t representive of the party in any way.

James Talarico for being so adamant about it.

I hope Maureen Golindo's FO hate campaign gets shut down.
