I was called a "trump supporter" for calling out a couple for leaving their dogs in a Suburban

with the window a little more than cracked open, 77 degrees and in the sun, trump hates dogs
I was at a burger joint and the couple were dine in but went outside after I threatened to call the police about the pitties

Colorado has a provision to protect a "do-gooder" who breaks the window. But, I wouldn't bet that it would not be quite an issue. But, damn. I care about the poor dog (or child in other cases).

I would have called the police. Let them learn the hard way. For dogs sake.

For less than that. Folks forget (or never knew) that a dog's temperature is a few degrees higher than ours and they suffer greatly in heat.

But don't blame you for what you did. In my younger days I might have broken out a window.
