I can't say I understand the entire concept of karma and

reincarnation. As far as my limited understanding goes, I must have been one screwed up individual in the past to find myself living now amongst MAGATS and Trump.

Repent I must, I gotta fix this.

No doubt, in a previous life (I still don't have a handle on that stuff) you discovered your true nature, as a bodhisattva, and as such, vowed to make things better, even if --- perhaps ESPECIALLY if --- it meant dwelling in a world where the golden rule was turned upside down.

Instead of "treat others as you would like to be treated, yourself"

It's

"No good deed goes unpunished:

But. as you say, "GO FIX THIS" mess.

If you (and I and ohters) don't, then it just gets worse.

No need to teach the ENTIRE Noble Eightfold Path. I have found that if the first four spread, the world will be so much better.,

• Right understanding. (most get it exactly opposite of what works for everyone)
Hint: Life's a mirror. How you treat others is a reflection of how you view yourself.
• Right Intention. "I resolve to make things better"
• Right speech. Say it, brothers and sisters. You're in a hole, trying to escape using a shovel.
• Right actions. Be so f-cking good that others, even dirtbags, will be jealous.

P.S. Karna usually works on a time scale that we aren't so happy with.
That's why we bust ass!

Dissertations on the Lotus Sutra on demand.
Just ask.

But your appearance on this planet at this time is significant. The fact that you can clearly see good from evil and are struggling against it proves your enlightenment nature.

Trump is only a symptom of a nation enmeshed in greed, anger and stupidity. Keep in mind what followed the Dark Ages. It was the Renaissance.

Continue to do good in anyway you can. We’re all in this together.

I'm no expert, just an old witch who's been doing this shit for almost 4 decades. There is no "bad karma" or "good karma." There are lessons to be learned in each lifetime. Your lesson to be learned may be to not go along with the groupthink of your neighbors. Or to be a beacon of light within the darkness. Yes, it is frustrating to be among people who don't believe you. But just keep doing what you're doing. Maybe there's someone else in your town that feels the same way, but is too afraid to express it? Be the example for that person.

We keep doing it over and over until we get it right. Then we become higher beings - also known as house cats.
