Sleepy Trump, 79, Slumps to the Side in Oval Office Briefing
https://www.thedailybeast.com/sleepy-trump-79-slumps-to-the-side-in-oval-office-briefing/
Trump appeared to catch some Zs in the Oval Office during a briefing on Thursday afternoon.
Trump, 79, let his eyes rest for a questionably prolonged blink during an Oval Office announcement on Beautiful, Clean Coal.
As the geriatric president was flanked by his sycophants, including Interior Secretary Doug Burgum, Energy Secretary Chris Wright, and EPA administrator Lee Zeldin, he appeared to briefly doze off, lying back and to the side in his seat.

(6,625 posts)I sometimes wonder if it's some sort of deliberate theatre (for who knows what actual purpose but it does serve to keep his detractors occupied rather than with more serious matters).
For one thing, he never seems to slump right over and, if his handlers actually wanted to avoid it, why not give him a stimulant of some sort before the briefings take place:
"Wake-Promoting Drugs: Central nervous system (CNS) stimulants such as modafinil or armodafinil are typically the first line of defense to treat excessive daytime sleepiness."
"Amphetamine Stimulants: Medications like methylphenidate or amphetamine combinations are used for more severe daytime sleepiness."
Who knows, maybe he has developed narcolepsy but, there are similar treatments for that too.
I dunno, it just seems too frequent and too suspicious somehow.
