General Discussion
Related: Editorials & Other Articles, Issue Forums, Alliance Forums, Region ForumsI just drove US-95 in Nevada from Laughlin to Las Vegas, today.
I was appalled. Near Searchlight NV there is a section named Veterans Memorial Highway and I saw the following signage honoring the following Veterans for each section of highway as follows:
WW I Vets
WW II Vets
Korean War Vets
Iraq War Vets
Global War on Terror Vets
Cold War Vets
That's it. Do you see anything wrong?
Hint:
A draft dodger with bones spurs didn't have to go 5x.
My wife and I were appalled. No mention of Vietnam Vets.

You missed the War on the Middle Class and the War on Unions (but I repeat myself). but otherwise, you describe that stretch of road well. Good people. And many Trumpanzees.

Note the last three were all legally declared by votes in Congress, which cannot be said for any conflict the US has been involved in since WWII. Congress obviously supplied support for a lot of the wars after that but there was never a formal declaration.
