Top House Democrats demand release of Epstein files that mention Trump

House Democrats on Tuesday demanded that the justice department release documents related to the disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein’s sex-trafficking case that mentions or references Donald Trump, citing a comment by Elon Musk after he fell out with the president this year.

The House judiciary committee’s ranking member, Jamie Raskin, together with 15 other Democrats sent a six-page letter to the US attorney general, Pam Bondi, accusing her of withholding some Epstein files to protect the president from any damaging disclosures.

They also called for the justice department to make public the second volume of former special counsel Jack Smith’s report into Trump’s alleged mishandling of classified documents, arguing that Bondi has a track record of using the justice department to protect the president.

“Stop protecting your boss and former client, release the Smith report in full without redactions immediately, and publicly release all documents in the Epstein files that mention or reference Donald Trump,” the letter said.

1. I don't think the public will get these documents through official channels, trump DOJ will break the law and ignore.

What we need is an inside whistle blower who is not afraid to stand up for his country...Plenty of Dem lawyers will be willing to defend and aid such a person...imo...

8. Well nowadays, most government agencies per their Records Management Schedules of documents have designated

the electronic copies as "official records". And if they have paper copies, in a number of cases, they will scan them and store them on some kind of permanent storage device (before I retired, they were burned onto DVD).

Way way way back in the day, there was this, commonly dubbed the "Paperwork Reduction Act" -

Then there was this, allowing "electronic signatures" -

I think that was the bill that Clinton signed here in Philly in Independence Hall. A bunch of us at work walked down there and stood outside of there while he was signing and then waved at the limos when the motorcade left!

just interview Gloria Alred. She represented one little girl who Krasnov raped at Epstein's mansion. There was a witness, interview her if she is still alive.
