DC protest set for White House ahead of Trump's Iran ultimatum

Rallies and protests are being scheduled throughout the country, including in Washington DC, after President Donald Trump threatened that "a whole civilization will die tonight" ahead of his "ultimatum" against Iran.

"I don't want that to happen, but it probably will," Trump said Tuesday morning of his threat, which he said will be a reality if Iran does not reopen the Strait of Hormuz.

An emergency rally has been scheduled for 6 p.m. at the White House, led by more than a dozen grassroots organizations.

"See you in the streets," said Flare USA, a movement centered on the removal of Trump as president.

Code Pink strayed from their original protest mission and things got "complicated".

They apparently get a lot of funding from China and, perhaps as a result of that, refused to speak out against China's persecution of Uygers. They've met in Gaza with Hamas terrorists.
