1. You can try downloading and running Microsoft's free Malicious Software Removal Tool.

Download for malicious software removal tool - download and run once in Safe Mode.

Instructions for entering Microsoft Safe Mode:

"1) Press windows key + R
2) Type msconfig and press enter
3) The msconfig box will pop up
4) Click the Boot tab
5) At the bottom part there is Boot Options.
6) Tick the box for Safe Boot
7) If you need internet while in Safe mode, select Network (This will start your computer in Safe mode with Networking)
8) Hit apply and click Ok
9) Allow restart.

You will need to go back to this setting if you don't need to start in safe mode anymore to remove what setting you have applied."
