Preservation experts have blasted the proposal, with one historic preservation office calling it "architectural vandalism of the highest order." More than 2,000 public comments were submitted, most opposing the project. But the paint isn’t really the story.

1. Is anybody looking into the contractors getting these busy work jobs possibily being people Trump has failed to pay?

Are taxpayers paying inflated prices to people Trump has stiffed for work on HIS properties in the past? Is this bribery to silence people with grounds to sue him?

Not accusing, but it seems a reasonable possibility and worth a look. Any chance some of the White House Stenographers Pool could nose around?
