from 40 years in a cubicle. Didn't know squat about the store but as soon as I put on that black apron, people would ask me where to find things. I learned quickly that beer is on aisle seven.

One night a young man came in the store, and asked me to help him get a machete and some bear spray out of the locked cabinets. I helped him with that and he went on his way up to the front of the store where the registers are.

About twenty minutes later I heard from another employee that there had been a scary situation up in the front of the store, and police had been called to deal with a man who was acting crazy and was waving a machete around.

I never fessed up to my contribution to this dangerous situation. No one was hurt, and he was arrested.

I had an important assignment to do but I got caught up doing other stuff. When I realized I missed the deadline I went up to the Chief and told him "I screwed up" and explained what happened. He just looked at me and said "No one was harmed or killed so it's good. Just get it done." The Chief was the best boss I ever had.

In grade school our homeroom nun put me in charge of collecting orders and money to send to TAB book club.

For whatever reason I collected the money and the filled out orders, then PROCRASTINATED for WEEKS. When the nun asked what happened to our order, I'd shrug and say, "I don't know. I sent it in."

To this day I don't know why I waited so long to do it. LOL!!! Every day was filled with dread.

It still bothers me. LOL!!!
