2. It varies a little.

The solstices and equinoxes aren't exactly aligned. For instance, my birthday is Sep. 22. Sometimes it's the autumnal equinox and sometimes it's a day earlier.

But the days will starting getting shorter relative to sunlight. That’s fine with me. My tomato plants are getting ample sunshine as is my body. Wearing me out.

Fun fact: Summer solstice hasn't landed on June 22 since 1975, and won’t again until 2203. AND there's time zones where the summer solstice is never on the 22nd, such as Hawaii and California.

7. I'm not surprised. Some years, the autumnal equinox falls on September 23.

(I remember that date b/c I was in first grade and the next year, it went back to September 21. And my teacher couldn't explain the discrepancy.
