Forgiveness is such a healing act in it's true form. Practicing the release of resentment, blame, and the trauma takes those toxins and reduces or removes their influence on our lives.
Please give us the opportunities to practice forgiveness as part of our wonderful weekend.
Love, John

(56,105 posts)Oh, boy. This is a tough one for me. I have one person I need to forgive for my own sake. Working on it.
Hopefully your forgiveness journey goes faster than mine. But thanks for the reminder. And I know you're right.

(2,805 posts)Unfortunately, my journey has the same pot hole filled, treacherous road map as most abuse survivors. I have to keep reminding myself that forgiveness is an internal process first in most cases.
I figured this would be tough so saved it for the weekend lol.
I am so grateful that you and other readers choose to share that my words matter to you personally. Thank you for that trust.

(11,804 posts)Good words
As i scurried doing morning chores
today head stuck deep into Roma tomatoes bushes cleaning up a little
which is a meditation in itself those words echoed and resonated deep I my thoughts and like the detritus that was being removed
I did the same inside.
Thank you
Chores started very early this morning and was quite hectic trying to beat the heat building in and the storm cell descending upon us. It all got done and more, thanks to you.
Have a great rest of the day.
