But order it for pickup. It doesn’t sound fun to stroll around in there. 🤣

I have an intense and probably irrational dislike of the word fart.

Not entirely sure why, but most likely due to being brought up with proper terminology by my nurse mother.

We didn't pee, we voided.
We didn't poop, we had BMs.
We didn't barf or puke, we vomited.

When miniskirts first became popular in the 1960, and knees were no longer covered, my mother snorted, "Whoever thought there was anything attractive about the popliteal space?" (the proper anatomic term for the back of the knee)

My mother's mother was also a nurse, and her father was a dentist, so I guess this should have been expected. I'm a nurse.

I remember once asking an 11 yr old female patient, whose mom thought maybe the child was having a bladder infection, if it hurt when she urinated. She looked at me blankly, and her mother then said, "Does it hurt when you wee-wee?"

I mentally rolled my eyes and thought, "You still say wee-wee to an 11 yr old?

Our older son was very good with sophisticated vocabulary, and I had taught him the word genitalia. One time, he couldn't remember it and said he was having trouble with his "paraphernalia." Close enough.

That one got me from my brainpan to my gnathion, down to my axilla, all the way down to reach my hallux.

A particularly lively moment occurred at my anatomical snuffbox.
