What is the overall best alternative to PayPal ? I'm getting kind of sick of them.

I haven't used other services except very occasionally, and those were required by the merchant -- didn't really inspire confidence, either.

What's the up/down on Venmo and other means of transferring funds ? I do PayPal Friends and Family (minimal fees) most often, and every time I do, they re-enable auto-login, no matter how many times I shut it off.

I know there are others out there who names I don't recall -- Honey, I think? -- so feel free to suggest a favorite if you have it.

1. You might try Zelle

It’s easy enough to use. My bank doesn’t charge any fees that I’m aware of.

6. Check refunds/protection and publicly viewable info.

For instance, only business transactions are protected on Venmo; no refunds are available for family & friends money transactions. Also, the default setting is that people can search and see your transactions, unless you change the settings.
