I was a mega fan of all things Country Joe right from the very beginning.

I was an unapologetic rocker so it shouldn't surprise that I didn't know much about Woody Guthrie, even after Alice's Restaurant. ...Until Country Joe recorded his album "Thinking Of Woody". It opened a whole new world to me, one with love of nature and folk music alike. See what you think:
