Firesign hardly belongs in the same group… Far and away one of the most intellectual 4 or 5 crazy guys ever—biting political wit with endless belly laughs, so many layers.

4. Personal experience....

I loved the top 40 countdown. My sister won the albums one year. It was a collection of 33 RPM vinyls. Also, Dr. Dimento was excellent! I remember Rolly Polly FishHeads, Drink Up Chuck and Di when Prince Charles and Lady Dianna were married, and a lot of weird Al Yankovic. Good memories.

There's nothing but smiles in the whole British Isles
For Lady Diana and Chuck
So let's raise a toast, here, we wish you the most
Of happiness, health and good luck

So c'mon, drink up Chuck and Di
C'mon, drink up Chuck and Di
Lift your cup until your bottom's up
C'mon, drink up Chuck and Di
C'mon, drink up Chuck and Di !!!!!!!

...Kill The Hostages, on 45 rpm vinyl:

Dr. Demento played it on his show, as did Rodney Bingenheimer - "Rodney On The ROQ" - on KROQ 106.7 FM, Pasadena CA.
