Saw Spirit 3X in high school; once second billed and once headlining at Fillmore West in 1969 and 1970. The third time was 2nd billed to Ike and Tina Turner Revue at Winterland Halloween 1970. In 1994 saw Spirit in an ephemeral beer bar in Eureka, just Cassidy and California with others. The friend I went to the first 3 shows with is coming from Oklahoma to visit me next month in Humboldt, the 3rdvisit in the last 4 years. Sardonicus is the best and last Spirit album with the original line up with Jay Ferguson.
