Pretty sure I know every word to every song on both #1 Record/Radio City disc. I've probably bought it 4 times over the years as I've either lost it, or someone kept it. I doubt I've ever gone a year w/o listening to the whole thing, dating back the early 90's when Rhino released the two-album disc.

Suffice to say, I'm a fan

Went and saw Alex play at a little club in Berkeley in 1994 (or thereabouts) and when the band took a break I went outside to the back alley and bummed a smoke off of him (an American Spirit to be precise), and we shot the shit & smoked. I was pretty stoked afterwards
